Electrode Potential Difference of 625 and SDSS

Electrode Potential Difference of 625 and SDSS

(OP)
We are considering coupling a 625 overlayed flange to a SDSS flange and want to know the electrode potential difference between the 625 and SDSS.  I am looking for a reference for the EP values of the two metals for review and to keep as a record.

They are so close that I don't see that being an issue.
You do know that the 625 has a lower resistance to crevice corrosion than most SDSS grades, that is what I would worry about.

I know from past reports that the EPs are close for these materials but I would like to have a reference to use in support of our suggestion for the 625 clad.

Look at a traditional seawater galvanic series.  All highly alloyed SS and Ni grades fall within a 0.100V range at one end.  In order to get this level of corrosion resistance you need a similar corrosion potential.
