Vibration on Input bearings for Hydraulic coupling

Vibration on Input bearings for Hydraulic coupling

(OP)
What could be causing a 9 mil vibration on the I/B journal bearing of a Fluid drive coupling(turbine driven 3600 rpm)at 2400-2600 rpm range? Never had this problem before.Turbine was just overhauled and so was boiler feed pump. Misalignment is one consideration,Oil temp is roughly 160 degrees.

RE: Vibration on Input bearings for Hydraulic coupling

Check balance of both shaft couplings. Both should have been balanced in shop and assembled with match-marks lined up correctly.
