Elastomers

Elastomers

(OP)
Our application falls under the scope of NACE MR0175/ISO 15156.

Which standard provides (a) the list of acceptable elastomers and other non metallic materials suitable for sour service ? (b) Maximum H2S limit (ppm, H2S partial pressure etc) for elastomers ?

Thank You.

RE: Elastomers

There are no publicly available standards that provide the information that you request.  There are standards that detail how to determine the information such as NORSOK M-710 and ISO 23936-1.

Thank you Mr. Steve Jones.

I always appreciate your comments.

RE: Elastomers

Do not use NBR in sour service.  NBR is a very common elastome used un industry, but is not suitable for soir service.
