Using Vis-Mockup (Teamcenter) to convert 3D Models

(OP)
Hello everybody. I have a question. Is Vis-mockup a good solution for converting 3D model? I'd like to take .jt files and convert them into Parasolids or Step

RE: Using Vis-Mockup (Teamcenter) to convert 3D Models

It depends on what your company has for licenses from Siemens - because if my hazy memory serves, the JT to STEP is a seperate license from the four levels of licenses (Base, Standard, Pro, Mockup) for Visualization.

MASawtell is right, the licensing would be the issue.
We had a customer looking at converting JT to STEP and the best solution was a NX MACH designer bundle.

It was cheaper (at least in Australia) than TC Vis and for the sample files the customer supplied, the result was better as well.

Now my curiosity is peaked - "NX MACH" Designer Bundle?  Anyone from Siemens care to enlighten about which standard license bundles allow you to do STEP work with NX or JT files?
