Pretty serious stuff, several unreinforced masonry wall blowouts, lots of falling cladding.. Heading that way in a couple of months.

Sounds like a similar quake hit them in September without major catastrophe, yet several buildings were damaged leading them to failure during this quake.
Kind of brings up the thought that maybe there should be some urgency to assessing structures affected by quakes?

This seismic event was closer to the city center and shallower according to the news this morning. But who knows for sure how much weakening of structures occurred during the last event.
