bundled rebars spacing

(OP)
what is the required minimum spacing of bundled reinforcing bars for beams?

RE: bundled rebars spacing

Between the bundled bars laterally within the beam, between the bundled bars themselves or to the face of the beam?

RE: bundled rebars spacing

Between the bars, not less than:

1.  the equivalent diameter of the combined bars; or

2.  1.33 times the maximum aggregate size; or

3.  1"

Whichever is greater.

Per table "Reinforcement 12", page 151 in the 1971 ACI Design Handbook.
