Is Brass FCC or BCC at room temp?

Is Brass FCC or BCC at room temp?

Experts:

Is brass FCC or BCC at room temperature?  Also,  I was wondering if it was Austenite or Martensite?  Specifically, the brass used in brass bearing races.  Thank you.

RE: Is Brass FCC or BCC at room temp?

Ha, like it's that simple!  Which brass alloy?  Below 35% Zn it's FCC, above it's BCC.  Neither is austenite or martensite.
