How to do a cabinet wall cut-out in a drawing?

(OP)
Hi,  I've been doing Pro-E for quite awhile now (currently on WF-5), but I've rarely had to do this.  Say I have an electronics cabinet and in a drawing I want to cut away a portion of the cabinet's wall to see a component mounted inside.  Is there a way in the Pro-E drawing module to do a small "cut-out" that will reveal the inside of the cabinet and it show up in the drawing view?  At times when I had to do this in the past I would create a cut in the side wall of the cabinet and create an instance that had the cutout, but, of couse, the cutout feature was suppressed in the generic.  Then I'd show the instance in the drawing view.  This works fine, but is there a better way to do this?
Thanks always,
g
