sheetmetal model not associated with sketch

sheetmetal model not associated with sketch

(OP)
When I model a sheet metal part the overall dimensions change and I can not seem to adjust them to their original size. Also, the model stays on the same plane as the sketch it was created from but the the part shifts from the outline of the sketch and I loose any locked dimensions. I am using ST3 Sync sheet metal. Any suggestions?

RE: sheetmetal model not associated with sketch

Hi dandycad,

Why do you use the sync mode, if you want to have associativity with sketches, you can use the traditional mode.

Regards.
