10bar pressure vessel for fixed-bed adsorption lease/hire?

10bar pressure vessel for fixed-bed adsorption lease/hire?

10bar pressure vessel for fixed-bed adsorption lease/hire?

(OP)
Hi, We're working on a project for mercury/arsenic removal from the condensate rundown line and we've identified and sourced a proprietary metal sulphide absorbent material to do the job.

However the client wants the system on a temporary basis (approx 6 months) as it is inconclusive whether there will actually be any mercury/arsenic present. The approach is to lease/hire a pressure vessel for 6 months, which can be packed with the adsorbent material and used as a temporary fixed-bed reactor. Op pressure and temp is 10barg & 50 degC. They do not want to fabricate a vessel from scratch.

Does anyone know of any vendors (preferably located in Asia-Pac region)that lease out pressure vessels? According to our internal mech engineer, pressure vessels are fabricated fit-for-purpose and I won't find any companies leasing them out.

Advice and help appreciated.

RE: 10bar pressure vessel for fixed-bed adsorption lease/hire?

You best bet would be to contact surplus equipment dealers.  Not saying isn't someone who rents pressure vessel I never encountered one.  I think renting would be problematic in respect to liability since you don't know the renters true intent.
