Downhole/Crosshole Seismic Testing

Downhole/Crosshole Seismic Testing

Downhole/Crosshole Seismic Testing

(OP)
Our firm has been requested to conduct downhole/crosshole seismic testing on a project and we are looking for someone to conduct that testing.  We have found one company in St Louis that is giving us a quote, but we would like to get another.  I ran a search for Tulsa and Kansas City without much luck.  Does anyone know who I could contact in those areas that does downhole/crosshole seismic testing?

RE: Downhole/Crosshole Seismic Testing

Coincidentally, we are located in the St. Louis area as well and can perform this testing. I'd be interested in where the project is located and what exactly you are looking for in terms of scope.  Should take this off board but short of putting up my email here (which I believe they frown upon) I'm not sure the best way to accomplish that. Actually if you google these terms one of the first couple sites should be contact for me: FYI SCI PIT.
Sorry, that was my best interpretation of "the plane flies mostly in the rain in Spain."

RE: Downhole/Crosshole Seismic Testing

Could you consider a geophysical techniques instead of down-cross hole? It is cheaper, quickly and more reliable; a good method is passive seismic (ReMi).

RE: Downhole/Crosshole Seismic Testing

i can assist you either technically or in actually performing the work. i perform all methods mentioned here and have posted many times about all. message at my user name @gmail.com. i can provide you some technical assistance and can assist with pricing too.

by the way, remi is not necessarily more reliable than downhole or crosshole. i'm highly experienced in 2D and 3D remi and am well versed in the application. i'll gladly give you the pros & cons of the different methods. contact me at your convenience.

my company is a nuclear firm and has offices in tulsa and all over. once you contact me, i will give you my contact information to discuss even if you decide to choose a different firm. my goal is to educate and help other professionals.
