(OP)
All,

Is there any rule of thumb when estimating future water EDU's for a commercial parcel that has 12,000 sf of floor space?  The Town and County code give no guidance on estimating future water demand for this situation.

I am trying to determine future water demand for a water facilities plan.

Thank you,

RE: EDU's by Commercial SF

One dimensioning trick, and not only for water, that works when everything else is uncertain is to take as example an 'absolute worst case' (could not be more than this), and the oppsoite lower end (could not for safety reasons) be less than this, add and divide by two as the 'typical sample'.

Present your logic and discuss solutions and pricing if fairly lower or fairly larger than your estimate.

Do not forget firewater if necessary.
