Seeking Pipe Purge Dams

Seeking Pipe Purge Dams

Seeking Pipe Purge Dams

(OP)
Seeking to purchase an inflatable purge dam for GTAW of stainless steels but require a dam up to 20" dia pipe yet able to be withdrawn thru a 2-1/2" dia pipe opening.

Have seen these with capability of being withdrawn thru very small openings but cannot locate now on the internet.

Appreciate any leads,
QCRobert

RE: Seeking Pipe Purge Dams

Any welding supply store will carry purge dams.

You might checkout the products from Aquasol.  They are water soluble and and are self adhesive.   This saves the time normally spent on taping the standard purge dam

I have our local welding supply store presently searching for an inflatable purge dam that can be retrieved thru a small opening.

We have Dissolvo brand paper & tape on hand but will not satisfy our requirement with this special application.

Thank you for your quick response tho,
QCRobert
