I have a flat plate with an angled central cut out to which I have applied 8 flanges at an angle.

I now wish to apply a further 7 flanges in the opposite directions as per flange 11 on the attached drawing.

Can anyone tell me why I managed to get flange 11 to work but I cannot get a mirror image flange to function.

I can get flange 15 to function without any offset but as soon as I apply a 5mm offset from the centre of the plate as per flange 11, the function fails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I have looked at my model again, changed the settings and got it to work so thank you all so much.

Dear EngAddict,

In my earlier reply I foolishly said something that offended the forum rules and it would seem although I have not been officially advised as such; I appear to have been banned.

Bit harsh for a naïve slip of the tongue!

Anyway to try again to answer your question; for several decades I designed and built homes for the rich and famous but for the past 4 or so years I have been specialising in a range of pyramidal houses.

For the last 2 years I have been developing the concept into a range of "healing houses" and associated buildings that promote the natural production of GHK and in turn GHK-Cu; which enable the body to produce new stem cells and thus allow one to heal naturally from cancer, heart disease etc.

I trust this reply does not get me banned too!

Finally, in my earlier question regarding writing Rules, is it possible that you might have an example of your last response in which you kindly stated:

"Just one other thing you can do, is instead of using the input list you can make the multivalued a key parameter. If you then place it in a new assembly with the 'Place iLogic Component' option it will prompt you to select any keyed parameters on placement. This will create a copy of the master iLogic assembly and all its parts. If you cancel the command and place it again you will get a new copy of your assembly.

This is similar to the functionality of an iAssembly if you made all your part files into iParts. I would use an iAssembly though if this is what you are after, provided it will do everything you need. If you have to start mixing a lot of code with iAssemblies then usually it is cleaner to just do everything with iLogic."
