Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

(OP)
Hello all,
I am using both SW2011 and Quickbooks Premium for Manufacturing 2009 and was wondering if anyone has found any good ways to utilize the two together? I am not aware of any direct linking between however.

Input, thoughts, recommendations, all welcome.

Thanks,
BB

RE: Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

I have never heard of the two working together.
Ask your VAR to see if they know of anything?

RE: Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

How do you want them to work together?  I am assuming by tracking time spent on models.

Just Curious....

RE: Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

Just being able to import a BOM from SolidWorks would be a good start ... maybe all that's necessary.

Being able to import (into SW) costs as a property into SW would be very useful.

RE: Anyone Using Solidworks & Quickbooks ?

That would work with a custom BOM. Does QB import and export Excel files?
