Assembly constraints precision

Assembly constraints precision

Assembly constraints precision

(OP)
Hi,
after a company fusion and CAD fusion, we have to menage CoCreate file imported as STEP in NX part.
The problem is when we have to mate they parts.
For example the distance between two hole in some parts are 130,0000584 and in others are 130,0000624 and when I try to mate, NX can't.
Can I change the precision which NX permit this mate ?
The parts are lots and ST is not a solution to edit every distance or diameter.

Thank you...

Using NX 7.0.1.7 MP1 and TC8.1

RE: Assembly constraints precision

You could try going to...

Customer Defaults -> Assemblies -> Positioning -> Solver

...and changing the tolerance there.  Now this will need to be done BEFORE you create the Part file in which you are going to be creating your assembly.  And once created, these tolerances cannot be changed.

Hi John,
as a workaround a 'save as' or an export assembly and an import assembly or an import part into other part if the part assembly is just created ?

Thank you...
