Am having difficulty importing a 100Mb STEP file from Autodesk Inventor into NX7.  Getting a failure message that the schema may not be right.  Where does the NX7 importer look for a schema file? Is there a better intermediate exchange format?  Should I look for a direct translator?  Could use a pointer to a good place to turn for expert help.  Thanks in advance.

Have you tried calling GTAC?

RE: File schema in STEP file does not compute

If you have been trying STEP203, try STEP214 (or vice versa).

Thanks for the ideas.  We found the problem.  The file was incompletely downloaded.  There was no problem with the format, schema, etc.  Doh!
