selection question

selection question

selection question

(OP)
In hide and show (ctrl+w) I can use geometry type.
For color selection I can inherit from an existing geometry the color I often use in combination with Crtl+A - fine. Now I'm trying so select for geometrie type, - there is no way to inherit geometrie type from an selected geometry ... like in color - or do I miss something?
regards

RE: selection question

When you say 'geometry type' do you mean 'lines' versus 'arcs' versus 'solid bodies'?  If so, no.

What 'inherit' was intended for, particularly in the case of 'Color' where there are so many different colors one may find it difficult to guess correctly the color of something, was that it's just easier to say, "I want to select everything which has the same color as THIS object".

thanks,
think about it, would be a cool enhancement on the geometry type filtering- like group selection/Up One Level
