I was asked about shoring and bracing for a 12' steel w shape to be supported on concrete block walls that are on a dox plank flooring system.  Contractors seem to be shying away from it because i think they are unfamiliar as well.  I've honestly never heard of the system until today and dont know the structural integrity of such a thing.  Has anyone worked with this before?

@pad, i did find that article before i posted on here, but did not find it very helpful. The asce report looks pretty good though.

@jrg, thanks, the load tables are great. gives me a starting point at least!

@jt0716, one of our problems here is when an OP hides information, deliberately or accidentally, and we end up duplicating work they have already done.
I should have guessed that Slideruleera would have the information.
