Logging data in Excel from USB device

Logging data in Excel from USB device

(OP)
I have a usb device (http://www.dlpdesign.com/232pc-ds-v12.pdf) that can measure a few voltages and digital signals and generate file I can read into spreadsheet.

I would like to be able to log data directly into excel.

In the past I used a load cell with RS232 link to PC that used a third party piece of software called WinWedge that allowed a macro in Excel to record load value directly into spreadsheet with a keyboard command.

Would it be possible using only Excel macro to do the same.  I don't have coding experience and wont be able to program too much.

Thanks

You might check out the Tek-tips sister website to this one.  Some pretty smart computer geeks live over there.
