Y axis moves in live tool/mill turn machine (primarily lathe)

(OP)
Using NX 7.5.2 Windows XP pro UG CAM package.

We have a mori seiki NL2500Y that we primarily use as a lathe (unless cutting key-way slots), but we have a couple of pockets that have double tool holders(see pic), and our CNC programmer has it setup so that a Y axis move indexes the turret to select the correct tool.

Does anyone else do this?  If so, how did you get your CAM to recognize the Y-axis when it's doing a turning move?

Thanks,
