we use gas and fuel oil as fuel for boiler in 600 MW power plant. Out side of the water wall tubes have sediment and residue of fuel. How can we clean the outside of the water wall tubes?
Can anybody list methods for this cleaning?

A full service company with UHP (ultra high pressure water} and vacuum capabilities could mitigate any environmental problems.

*Hydroblasting below 10K psi is really a 'car wash', and is not very useful in an industrial setting.

use of such a system would make it hard to scour the insulation.
We always use a vacuum system, either online during the blasting or for cleanup when media blasting.
Totally agree that anything below 14,00 is mass blasting and it very hard to get energy to the surface due to the volume of water.
I've found that there are three pressures with water alone where the effect of water blasting changes dramically. The first is around 14,500, the second is around 23000, the next level is around is around 33,000.
I've mentioned this before a sandblaster is like a welder , he can make or break you if not skilled and dedicated to the job. When blasting tubes we always use a very aggressive media in trying to achieve cleaning in one pass, no dwell time.
