3D Solid Model -- new feature

3D Solid Model -- new feature

(OP)
COMPRESS now provides a 3D solid model feature. The solid model can be viewed from within COMPRESS (replacing the traditional 3D graphical view; the standard graphic view is still available) and can be exported in standard format files for use with other software, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD Inventor, etc.

Note that many compatible CAD applications provide features to extract 2D working drawings from the solid model, and to provide dimensions, etc, for complete working drawings.

This raises some exciting new possibilities (some of which are under wraps for now), such as importing your COMPRESS vessel models into plant design software, your FEA software, etc.

The new solid model feature is provided as part of the basic COMPRESS functionality for all users with active SUS subscriptions.

See www.codeware.com/compress/index.html for more information and videos.
