Tool Library

(OP)
Hi frds

I created a mytool_database.dat file , I eneterd all tools what I use reguraly and useful tools. upto here everything is fine.

My question is how to pickup a tool from that library, whenever I try to browse but my path is showing that default tool database library.
I guess some tamplae file need to edit am I rite? please let me know where I want to change.
Thanks and Regards

RE: Tool Library

The simplest way is to rename the default library to .bak or something, then rename your file to tool_database.dat.

Hi Camdude

Right now I am using like that. But I am queries that is there any otherway  to breows
Thanks

RE: Tool Library

You cannot browse to the tool database file.
This is determined by your configuration, such as cam_general.
Here the database connection (DBC) is defined for the tool library - basically how to access tools.

The best way is to name your libraries tool_database.dat and replace the files provided out of the box.
