CAM UDE Sequence Numbering Help

CAM UDE Sequence Numbering Help

CAM UDE Sequence Numbering Help

(OP)
Hello,

I have am using the NX7.5.1.5 and I have a block of UDE's in a machine control operation.

I have tried using the Sequence Number UDE, but I just can't get the format right. Usually I get it so every event in the block is numbered, but I just want it named at the start of the block, if that is possible.

Does anyone know how to get a sequence number (NXXX) before a group of UDE's?

example:
N10
N20
N30
N40
N50
N60 (NX OPER NAME: CENTER_DRILL)

N065 (NX OPER NAME: MACHINE_CONTROL)
M69
M25
G330
M434
...
...
...

N070 (NX OPER NAME: ROUGH_TURN)

etc

Thanks

RE: CAM UDE Sequence Numbering Help

Try just shutting it off before your first UDE and then turn it on after the last. If you only want the op name with the sequence block then it would be much easier to do this in the post.

Thanks Shags,

I talked to GTAC.  They had no problems getting the correct Sequence number from what was in my post processor.  After some time trying to find what was different.  I was using NX 7.5.1.5 and they were using 7.5.2 so I am currently downloading the maintenance pack.

I don't know what's in the maintenance pack that would make a difference, but I do believe that is the solution.

Thanks for the post.
