(OP)
Just wondering if any of you out there have experience with the seat tracks of the Beech 400A and might have the cross sectional dimensions. I'm trying to design a track fitting but don't really have this data available without pulling up carpet (which the owner doesn't want me to do).

Thanks in advance.

RE: Beech 400A

I'd bet it's made to some sort of industry standard, but I am not a structures person and I don't have any first hand experience with it.

RE: Beech 400A

i suspect it's something generic/standard, like "douglas"track.

maybe the easiest thing to do is take off one of the other seats ?

RE: Beech 400A

It's a mushroom head type, not an MS profile.  Check the SRM section under extruded profiles, I don't have that handy.

Rather silly the owner won' let you pull up the carpet.

RE: Beech 400A

I've got a Beechjet that shares hangar space with us; i'll have a look at it tomorrow.
