Revolved boss as Design Library feature problem

Revolved boss as Design Library feature problem

So I'm attempting to set up a male 37° JIC "boss" in the design library as a revolve with configurations.  Problem is, I can't figure out how to make it so I can drag the feature onto a face without it wanting to put the revolve sketch onto that face instead of the end of the revolved boss.  I have looked on the SolidWorks online help and there appears to be an issue with revolved features in the design library.  Any thoughts?

RE: Revolved boss as Design Library feature problem

You have to be careful about your sketch relations when you create a design library feature part.  You may be having an issue because you related some entity in your sketch to a silhouette edge.  I always try to relate sketch entities to easily selectable faces when I create a design library feature part.

Also, if you are planning on using a revolve, you will need a surface for that revolve to be on.  So if you have a face you want the boss to protrude from, you will need a plane perpendicular to that face at the center of the boss you are creating.
