Painting Room Ventilation

(OP)
I have simple rectangulair room (not a paint booth for cars,vehicule...etc)where they paint pipes and steel fittings with a spray gun, there is an existing ventilation system with 50 ach/h as per AHRAE in this room but its not effective,i need to know wich ach/h do i use and the better location for the FA and EX grills in the room

RE: Painting Room Ventilation

For an effective air flow you need 50 to 100 ft/min of cross air flow.

thank you

RE: Painting Room Ventilation

Is there a possibility to capture the paint spray by means of circulating water falling on a surface behind the items to be painted? this will be very effective to reduce the contaminant air.
