Supply current of stepper driver IC when powered but not switching?
Supply current of stepper driver IC when powered but not switching?
(OP)
Hi,
Do you know what is the non-switching supply current (ICC) of the NJM2673 bipolar, switch-mode, stepper motor driver IC ?.
NJM2673 DATASHEET:
htt p://semico n.njr.co.j p/njr/hp/p roductDeta il.do?_isT opPage=fal se&_pr oductId=16 90&_mo veKbn=PROD UCT_DETAIL _MOVE_SPEC
...or download NJM2673 datasheet from this site..
htt p://www.2s hared.com/ document/J taCgPvr/NJ M2673.html
I am referring to when the NJM2673 has VMM=36V and VCC=5V , but is not actually driving a stepper motor.
The top of page 5 of the datasheet says it has supply current ICC = 60mA,
-but it does not say how much current would be drawn when its not actually switching stepper motor coils.
