Solidworks Certification

(OP)
Hi all,

Just joined, but been browsing for a while.

I have come across a problem when trying to complete the Solidworks Mold Tools certification exam.

I failed the exam because of this 1 question, but I darent re-take it because I cant figure this out.

I had to create a mold tool from an imported part.  There were various conditions, and it gave specific dimensions for the mold block.  It then asked me to measure the mass of the bottom part of the mold tool.

There wasnt an answer that matched the result that I got.  I have retried this over and over changing all kinds of variables and still cant get my answer to change.

Can anyone help me on this?  I can provide more detail via PM, but dont want to post the details on here.

Cheers
Ian.

RE: Solidworks Certification

Have you thought about contacting the certification team at SolidWorks? They're a good bunch of people and may be able to give you a push in the right direction. I believe their email is certification@solidworks.com.

RE: Solidworks Certification

Ian, yes go with what Jeff has suggested as that is the best way to resolve the issue.

And what you said here

is being missed by many people as this is the exam disclaimer for not sharing any details to others. Though you can send the feedback/suggestions/questions to the Certification team thumbsup

Thanks for the info.

I will get in touch with the certification team.
I have spoke to them about an issue with my acount which they were very helpful and resolved straight away.

I wasnt sure if they could help with specific exam queries though.
But I'll give it a try.

Thanks
Ian

RE: Solidworks Certification

They won't give you straight up answers, but they will help you with general questions. I got some guidance doing the FEA exam myself, and in the end I missed one little checkbox, do'h! You definitely don't need the answer to figure that out, just a little help smile
