Milwaukee Wisconsin Building Code History

Milwaukee Wisconsin Building Code History

Milwaukee Wisconsin Building Code History

(OP)
Does anyone know the history of the Wisconsin Building Codes used or adopted since the 1970's?  In particular the code wind loads for the Milwaukee, WI area.  i.e. Which particular building codes and years adopted, which probably referenced ANSI A58.1-1972 or 1982, or the ASCE 7-88 or later etc.

Thanks,

Paul

RE: Milwaukee Wisconsin Building Code History

Wisconsin had its own building code until it adopted the IBC (around 2002, as I recall).

Wind load in the old Wisconsin Building Code was 20 psf for MWFRS for buildings up to 50' in height, I believe.  There was no mention of C & C wind loads.
