RE: Plant Operation
That is pretty simplistic with many critical steps left out and maybe even some words mis-used, but that is about how I understand it.
How detailed did you want to get?
Urea, I don't know, sorry.

RE: Plant Operation
Thank you for your quick response. I want to know from How the starting material (raw material) is changed into different forms by different reactions or process to obtain the final material. If you have any docs plz give me which shows the complete structure of the plant
RE: Plant Operation
Google these two words "KAAP ammonia" and these two words "Braun ammonia" (without the quotation marks) and when you get through reading, if you still have questions, we will try to handle them at that time.

RE: Plant Operation
There are about 400 ammonia plants globally. Most of the plants utilize natural gas as feedstock and fuel in ammonina production.
Although several processes have been developed for producing ammonia, the predominant processing unit layout inclueds natural gas desulfurization, primary reforming, secondary reforming, water gas shift conversion, carbon dioxide removal, methanation,
sythesis gas compression, ammonia conversion and its associated separation loop refirgeration and steam system.
The process may includes reforming, centrifugal compressors, steam drives and methanation for final purification of synthesis gas.
and futherurmore the Amomona prodcution can be divided into four segments:
1. Gas preparation
2. Gas purification
3. Compression
4. Sythesis
Please refer more detail in other paper.
