control valve upsream operating pressure and PCV relationship

control valve upsream operating pressure and PCV relationship

(OP)
Dear Sir

I am sorry to bother your this trivial.

I would like how to set the upstream control valve OP

(Please see the attached excel file)

The control valve TV-B upstream is set 7 barg (refer from CV

datasheet), but from its upsream product cooler datahseet, I only

got 5 barg. It seems quite odd to me, and I wonder how the

temperd water recirculation pump suciton presure 3barg get

involved in this valve upstream pressure 7 barg result.

And why is the PCV byapss the TV-B, how is this PCV function if

TV-B fail, and why is no any block valve upstream / downsream of

this TV-B and PCV?

Thank you so much for your kindly help.

RE: control valve upsream operating pressure and PCV relationship

Without full details, the 7-5 bar problem does look a bit screwed up.  I think you should really be asking these questions to your project manager.

RE: control valve upsream operating pressure and PCV relationship

Dear Sir

Please forgive me because last time I put my words wrong. The PCV upstream pressure should be 7 barg and downstream press should be 2.7 barg. And the TV-A upstream pressure is 5 barg and downstream press is 4.3 barg.

And, I guess that PCV set pressure is 7 barg. If upstream pressure won't pass 7 barg, that PCV will always keep close.

So, could anyone please help me agian why the PCV install in this bypass location for? Cause
the upstream pressure won't pass 7 barg or it may have some abnormal startup or shutdown so that upstream pressure may over 7 barg?

Thank you so much for your kindly help.
