RE: Organization Chart

You are going to have different organizational hierarchies  depending on the end product you are designing and manufacturing.  You'll need to provide info to get better responses.

RE: Organization Chart

estaki,

You may wish to take a look at a flow charting program such as RF Flow.  It can be very useful in setting up Org charts.  Additionally it is quite inexpensive ($ 64 US).

RE: Organization Chart

I don’t understand what you’re looking for.

If you’re looking for software there are dozens of programs, ABC Flowchart and Visio to name a couple. MS Word has a built in org chart designer, although I don’t care for it personally.

If you’re looking for examples on how to structure you’re company, don’t. How it’s structured depends on product(s), customers, size, corporate philosophy, individual talents, etc. An organization chart should be tailored to your company, not the other way around.

RE: Organization Chart

Microsoft PowerPoint has an organizational chart template (open a blank presentation, click on Insert, Picture, Organizational Chart).  Org Chart templates & help are also available at http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/templategallery/ and click on "Staffing and Management".

RE: Organization Chart

For sample charts go to a local library and look at books on Mnangaement and organizational Behaviour. Society of Mnufacturing Engineering or Previously ASTME had a number of organizational charts. A Quality control handbook might provde you a sampling or even a Good Design Engineering Organiztion book should have some samples. A " Manufacturing Engineering "
book should also provide some samples.Machine Design, Modern Machine shop magazines might have some published article available in the archive.
