rich amine condesate / lean amine condesate

rich amine condesate / lean amine condesate

rich amine condesate / lean amine condesate

(OP)
Amine from ammonia stripper bottom feed the Drying column under flow control
with reset from the ammonia stripper bottom level. The column receives also the amine rich condensate from the Ejector hot well under flow control and reset by the level. The amine rich condensate is pumped to the drying column by the rich water hot well pump
The drying column is packed tower with two be the column operated under 270 mbara, produced by the Drying column vacuum package. This is two stage vacuum system, provided with a first, inter- and after condenser. Nitrogen is introduced at the ejector suction to adjust column top pressure, and steam is used as working fluid.
Condensate from the condenser flows by gravity to the Ejectors hot well.

Process condensate produced by first/ inter/after condensers of amines column vacuum package is collected in the ejector hot well. And, all condensate is pumped by lean/rich water hot well pump to the drying column. The first condenser always produced lean condensate and inter/after condenser always produced rich condensate.

So (1) this lean condensate and rich condensate is so called as lean/rich amine,
and (2) how the lean condensate produced by the first condenser, and rich condensate produced by inter/after condenser,(3) usually there is hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide from process stream but I dind't see any regenerator in this process to remove this containment.
Thank you very much for your kindly help.

RE: rich amine condesate / lean amine condesate

Look up the Girbotol Process to get some ideas.
Get the S as far up stream as you can.
