I have about 9000 CY of sludge left in abondoned (dry) lagoon. How much would this weigh(preferably in tons)? Can't find any reference for sludge weight fitting this characteristic. Any reference would be helpful. Thanx.

RE: domestic sludge/soil weight

I imagine it depends a lot on the moisture content and sludge material(s).  Why not take a few samples and weigh them??

It's a bid job and samples & testing will be required by the GC. They only give a CY value and typical nature of abandoned material. It's a dry pond cell unless it rains.
