NX Nastran Analysis Monitor Issue. Any Assistance?

NX Nastran Analysis Monitor Issue. Any Assistance?

(OP)
I am a new user to FEMAP with NX Nastran.  I was trying to run an analysis and have set up my materials, mesh, constraints, loads and properties necessary to run an analysis.

The directions in a tutorial state that the analysis set be set to 36. NX Nastran (which I have done).  Then when I go File--> Analyze, the NX Nastran Analysis monitor pops up and automatically creates a status that says "complete".  It has an elapsed time of 00:00:00 and produces a .dat file.  However, when I try to do View-->Select, the "Deformed Style and Contour Style areas are grayed out and I cannot perform any form of analysis on my part using VonMises etc.  In essence, I cannot do any form of post processing

Can anyone enlighten me as to what is happening and how I can fix this to move on with my analysis?  Thank you.
