Everything greyed out under hide/show items!

I'm trying to turn on the visibility of temporary axes, but when I click on the hide/show items button, everything is greyed out and un-selectable except for sketches and decals! What might be causing this, and how can I re-enable everything? It's really hard to get done what I need to do now.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I clicked View, and Hide All Types was checked. I have now idea how it became checked, but I unchecked it and everything is available again. Sorry for the unnecessary thread.

Little tip for you. If you use your hit ALT-v-y you can flip it on.
Also alt-v-x for temp axis. If you flip on and off stuff a lot "right click" and go to recent commands flyout. It is a pretty nice area to go to especially if you have patterns.
