RSLogix 500, VBA and Can I force DI and DO in a SLC

(OP)
Hello,

I have a program that seems to be running okay, but to get it to work, not connected to the equipment requires a lot of switching Forces on/off and I am just not that good.  I am pretty good with VB/VBA and am wondering if I can use RSLogix 500 VBA to write up a little interface and would simply turn Forces on/off and monitoring for 10-20 DI and DO in my SLC 5/03 processor/ladder?  Also a few pointers or examples would be much appreciated as well.  Or how else can I do this?

Thanks in advance!!

For testing you can write a simulation routine that switches the input image bits according to the outputs so the PLC thinks it has the inputs working.
Just standard RSLogix code.
