I am trying to determine a Static Joint Strength Substantiation for CR3245 Fastener.  This is a 'Unisink' fastener made by Cherry Aerospace.  It is supposedly equivalent to a NAS9306B, M7885/28, HR3245 or AF3245.

If anyone has any ideas, your help is appreciated.  Thanks.

Brianabreugomes...

Contact Cherry Fastener technical support.  http://www.cherryaerospace.com/contacts/contacts.html

They have tested a bunch of these rivets [various rivet alloys/Dias/grips VS sheet alloys/thicknesses, etc] and have developed MIL-HDBK-5/MMPDS allowables. HOWEVER... MOST of the data is unpublished, because it was  generated for a specific OEM customer. Never hurts to ask nicely for a reference copy.

DANG: these blind rivets are my favorites... wish I could get my company to acknowledge/use them.&^%^Y%$$%#$^$^%#@

Thanks Wil.  I will contact them and hopefully I'll get a response.  I'll let you know what they say.
