I'm new to creating ERR and am looking for a guiding document/standard that defines typical requirements and format for Engineering Release Records.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

RE: Engineering Release Records

Perhaps this would help:

My condolences on your assignment. Maybe this suggestion would help: If your ECO system is already efficient and optimized to have only one signature on the design side and one signature on the operations side, you might add a third to represent the regulatory nature of the requirement and still have a rather efficient system. But if everyone wants to sign the ECOs already, find a new job quick.

I didn't realize MIL-HDBK-61 had Engineering Release Records section.  Looks like I have some reading to do.  I'm not very familiar with that handbook.
