take off ball vavle in replace of spool for cleaning issue
take off ball vavle in replace of spool for cleaning issue
(OP)
Dear Sir
I have a ball valve with flange rating's 300 LB,
and would like to take the valve off in replace with
a spool to washing the pipe.
It's a stupid question that I should take 150 LB
spool or 300 Lb spool by the way the pipe class is
150 LB.
Thank you so much for your kinkd help.

If the valve is threaded, then this is a trivial question, unscrew the valve and screw in a length of similar pipe.
2-inch and smaller flanges have the same bolt pattern in ANSI 150 and ANSI 300. That isn't true for bigger flange sizes. So if the line size is bigger than 2-inch you have to build your pup with ANSI 300 flanges to get them to bolt up to the existing flanges.

thank you for your reply.
what if the 2" gate valve with 300lb flange on the
150 lb pipe, so we can still take the 150 lb pipe
in replace of this 300 lb gate valve
cause it is 2" valve and threaded valve.
