Compatability of Cimatron E 9.0 and SolidWorks 11

Compatability of Cimatron E 9.0 and SolidWorks 11

(OP)
We are an injection molding company that uses SolidWorks 11 and our mold builder uses Cimatron E 9.0. He converts his files to Iges Step files so that we can open them in SW. In the past we have been able to open the mold file and edit it, both extrude and cut features in it. Then it changed to where we could only extrude features. We could not cut features in the imported features. Now we cannot do anything. Anytime we add features, save the file, then try to reopen it, the features we add show up, but the imported features disappear. Any explanation?

RE: Compatability of Cimatron E 9.0 and SolidWorks 11

Can you post one of those "Iges Step" files for testing?
