Local dynamic stiffness?

Local dynamic stiffness?

Local dynamic stiffness?

(OP)
Dear Nastran comunity,

I would like to know how I can plott the local dynamic stiffness of some nodes in my body in white model?
I have simulated the model with SOL111 and 108 and Nastran 2008.

For example if I excite the node with id 100 with SOL111, with a unit force (1 N), in the model and I get a displacement about 0.0001mm on this node. Then it means that I have a lokal dynamic stiffness of 10000 N/mm or rather 10 N/m.

Is that right?

Thnx,
Dina

With kind regards,
Dina

RE: Local dynamic stiffness?

Hi Dina,

Yes u r right.  But, corresponds to the which frequency you are calculating that stiffness is important.

Since, from basic definition, dynamic stiffness is stiffness measured at each frequency.

Hope this helps.

Kumaravel Saravanan
