Equotip hardness test person in the US ?

Equotip hardness test person in the US ?

Equotip hardness test person in the US ?

(OP)
I have recently performed some hardness testing for a major client here in Denmark. Due to limited space it was only possible to perform the measurements using an Equotip hardness tester.

The client has several more similar machines in Colorado they would like to have tested. I have off course offered to leave right away, but as it would be quite expensive for my client to have me travel all the way to Colorado for one days work, my client is now looking for a US based company to do the same. I have offered to assist in looking for alternatives.

My client has had difficulties finding someone able to do it ? If one is used to using an Equotip hardness tester it is pretty straight forward, the only problem is a slightly awkward working position inside the machine.

So does any of you know an experienced Equotip hardness test person in the US, preferably in Colorado ?

Look at the web site below. We have used SIA at our plants because they have very good with technical expertise with conducting field hardness testing and interpretation of results. They have offices all across the US.

brimstoner,

Yes I used it extensively on tubes from from Therminol vaporizer that had under went an excursion, fire.

We check the screen tubes and first row of the steam generator in a HGRS boiler. We have periodic excursions as we burn NO.

The testers have been very reliable if treated right.

Our main use was to check this CS sheets used as anodes in an electrolytic cell.
