Transforming displacements into cylindrical csys in Femap

Transforming displacements into cylindrical csys in Femap

Transforming displacements into cylindrical csys in Femap

(OP)
Hello,

I am using Femap v10 with NeiNastran and have a model with solid tet10 elements with displacement results.  I am interested in transforming the displacements into a local cylindrical csys to obtain displacements in the T2 (theta) direction of that csys.  Will the resulting displacements after said transformation be in the model units of length or will they be angular? If they are angular, will they be in radians or degrees?

Thanks.
