Changed Scenes, Now Model is acting up

Changed Scenes, Now Model is acting up

Changed Scenes, Now Model is acting up

I'm a new SW user (using SW2011), so forgive me if this is a dumb problem. I tried searching a little, but the only applicable search terms are pretty broad and gave me tons of threads to sift through.

I have been working on an assembly, and was looking at different "Scenes" because the default scene was making it hard to distinguish between different pieces of pipe in my routes. All I did was go to the "Appearances" tab on the right side of the screen and toggled between a few scenes while looking for one that I wanted. Some how while doing this, I FUBARed everything. Everything in my tree was turned into a lightweight feature (i.e., blue feather next to every item in the tree). I now can't toggle what I want to see or hide (see screen shot). Also, when I "hover" over a feature, I don't get an orange "ring" around it like I used to (may be related to the fact I can't show any features). I can't change scenes - all I get is a pure white background, very light colored solids, and no shadows or reflections. When I edit a route, the parts of the model that are not part of the route don't fade out or turn transparent anymore.

These problems only seem to have shown up in this one assembly and no other assemblies or parts show these problems.

So, now I've turned here hoping someone can explain to me what I did to screw up my assembly so much and how I can fix it?

RE: Changed Scenes, Now Model is acting up

One, go to View on your toolbar and make sure 'Hide all types' isn't selected. Then, under 'Tools', make sure 'Large Assembly Mode' isn't active. Three, if you were only messing with the scenes, you might want to check out your graphics card and its driver and make sure they're approved.

Thank you very much Jeff! You were correct on the first two counts. As far as your third suggestion, I think my graphics card is a little short of the requirements, but the bean counters haven't approved an updated card for me....yet.
