I have to calculate the pressure drop across a hole on a thick plate. I don't find the correct equation.

Could you help me?

Some details would be helpful.  Diameter?  Plate thickness?  Sharp edges, rounded edges?  Incompressible or compressible flow?  Upstream pressure?  Downstream pressure?  Fluid, the number of phases, it's conditions and properties?

Are you a student or an engineer?  The lack of necessary detail is appalling.  Anticipating what is needed to answer your question, may help answer your question.

In principle you can use a general orifice equation like the one for a PSV (API 521). You just have to choose the right coefficient of discharge
