Structural Shapes in Germany

Structural Shapes in Germany

(OP)
To all European structural designers out there:

Is there a web site or other reference where I can obtain available structural shapes (I shapes, hollow rectangular and square tubes and C shapes) that can be purchased in Germany, around the Dresden area?

Also, a description of the applicable welding standards would be useful.  I am in charge of designing test fixtures for rail vehicle impacts.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Structural Shapes in Germany

www.mcb.be is a belgian site, however with standard (european) products and a very comprehensive catalog on-line.

What exactly would you mean by welding standards? quality control or minimum achievements? I think I might have got some of those (some applicable in Belgium, however most are EU) (in .pdf format).

Can I contact you by e-mail?
