NX6 Move command
NX6 Move command
(OP)
I am trying to copy a line around a circle, similar to a clock. I am using these lines as a reference as I lay something out. I am simply try to get 32 lines equally spaced around 360 degrees.
I have wasted lots of time on such a simple command, and I can't figure out how to do it.
Just under where the vector and axis point are specified is "Angle".
Is this the angle between the lines?
What is distance/angle divisions?
It can only be a whole number and not zero.
I recently got a new computer and whoever loaded it up for me forgot to put the documentation, so I am currently unable to look this up.

RE: NX6 Move command
Insert -> Associative Copy -> Instance Geometry...
...and choose Type 'Rotate', select your original line segement, select the axis and origin of the 'circle', under 'Angle' enter 360/32 and under 'Number of Copies' enter 31, and then hit OK (as per the attached example)?
